Hundreds gather to watch Pride Parade in downtown COS

PrideFest took the celebration to the streets of downtown Colorado Springs on Sunday for the Pride Parade.

Hundreds of people lined Tejon Street and Colorado Avenue to watch the floats pass by, supporting the LGBTQA community.

People of all ages attended the parade while celebrating PrideFest this weekend.

One woman said she brought her kids out to the event to cheer on friends and loved ones.

“We bring our kids every year out here. It’s important to feel the community and feel the colors everyone brings to this lovely community that we have here,” said one Pride Parade attendee.

The parade concluded at America the Beautiful Park to finish up the PrideFest party.
