Evacuations ordered for wildfire near Nederland

Mandatory evacuation orders have been issued for a wildfire burning north of Nederland.

The Boulder Office of Emergency Management says people being evacuated should move to Nederland High School.

Authorities said the fire started Saturday afternoon west of Boulder and grew quickly to more than 100 acres.

The scenic Peak to Peak Highway was blocked off to traffic. There were no reports of injuries.
