Local church hosts summer movie events
A Colorado Springs church is hosting summer movie nights starting Friday, July 8.
The Rock Family Church’s ‘Movies Under the Stars’ series will be showing movies outdoors using a 40-foot inflatable screen with a large sound system.
The church will show three movies on its Woodmen and South campuses. Kung Fu Panda 3 will be shown on July 8, and July 22. Now You See Me will be shown on July 29. And Zootopia will be Shown on August 19.
The Woodmen Campus is located in the 4000 Block of Lee Vance View.
The South Campus is located in the 200 Block of S. Academy Boulevard.
The movies are free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
