Colorado Springs sees 16th traffic-related fatality

A man involved in a motorcycle-vehicle collision on June 25 died from his injuries on Tuesday.

Michael White, 68, was driving north on N. Wahsatch Avenue on his motorcycle when a vehicle pulling a trailer south on N. Wahsatch Avenue was turning left on to E. Bijou. White reportedly tried to avoid the crash by laying his bike on its side.

On July 5, White succumbed to his injuries. According to reports, White was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

This is the city’s 16th traffic-related fatality this year and the first motorcycle-related fatality.
