Closing schedule for Garden of the Gods
Garden of the Gods will be closing down for a portion of the next three weeks.
Starting July 7, the tourist spot will start closing early to accommodate for road closures. Roadway paving and milling operations are the cause of the early closing time of 8 p.m.
During the daytime, the roadways and parking lots will all be open and accessible as usual.
Nightly Roadway Closures:
Sunday-Thursday, nightly from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.
Friday-Saturday, nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Closures include Gateway Road, Juniper Way Loop, Garden Drive, Garden Lane, and Ridge Road.
No one will be allowed into the park during the nighttime milling and paving operation. Recreational users and drivers using the roadway during the daytime may encounter grooved and un-even pavement throughout the three week project.
