Cars vandalized in Colorado Springs neighborhood

A woman is claiming her teenagers’ cars were vandalized early Wednesday morning.

Several vehicles in the Briargate neighborhood suffered some damage somewhere between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m.

Spray paint was used to cover up back lights and license plates as well as to put obscene messages across the windows and bodies of the vehicles. Another vehicle had its back glass shattered in. Officials also believe that a watermelon was smashed against one of the cars.

Colorado Springs police responded and reportedly told the victims that officers couldn’t do anything about it at this point.
