New search for clues behind Monument boy’s death begins

Investigators in La Plata County began searching for more clues in the case of Dylan Redwine on Tuesday.

The Monument boy died in 2012 while spending time with his father near Durango, but the details of his murder are still unknown.

The La Plata County Sheriff’s Office said investigators will search Middle Mountain again this week.

Dylan’s mother said she is just wants answers.

“Anything we get that further solidifies the route that the detectives are going down certainly helps our case. Ya know? And over the past four years there has certainly been new information. We hope this search will yield more information,” said Elaine Hall.

Earlier this year, deputies named Mark Redwine as a person of interest in the case.
