Colorado State Fair organizers expect record year

The 144 th Annual Colorado State Fair in Pueblo is on track for success.

General Manager Sarah Cummings said she is hopeful for a record year because of the great musical acts expected to perform.

You can still expect all the same traditions like Midway food vendors, carnival rides and exhibits.

There are going to be a few new tricks, including a hands-on science booth. But the entertainment lineup is what fair management is most excited about.

“We’ve had a great response on our entertainment lineup this year. Huey Lewis is tracking really strong on ticket sales. Foreigner is topping ticket sales now,” said Cummings.

The fair runs August 26 through September 5. Midway setup starts in the beginning of August.
