CSPD searching for 4th of July vandals

Two men seen traveling in a black, four-door sedan reportedly vandalized a neighborhood in the 6800 block of Oak Valley Drive on Monday.

The Colorado Springs Police Department got a call of shots fired around midnight. When officers arrived to the scene, they found that one house window, multiple vehicles and one mailbox had been damaged by thrown rocks.

Witnesses told police that they saw two white males in the sedan. The passenger looked to be in his late teens or early twenties, around 5’11” tall, thin build with blond hair, and was wearing khaki shorts and no shirt. The driver also looked to be in his late teens to early twenties and has brown hair.

Police found more property damage in the 6100 block of Moccasin Pass Ct, the 2100 block of Silent Rain Drive and the 2100 block of Alpine Shadows. They are still unsure whether they are connected with what happened off Oak Valley Drive.

If you have any information on the suspects, contact CSPD at 444-7240.
