Crews investigating structure fire east of Colorado Springs
Firefighters were able to bring a structure fire under control in Calhan.
It started early Monday morning in the 2500 block of North Log Road.
EPC Wildland fire says that the home has been abandoned for years. Arson investigators are on scene right now, combing through the debris.
As of 6 a.m. the fire is still smoldering.
No one was hurt.
Crews are working to cut down trees in the area to stop the fire from spreading to nearby land. KRDO Newschannel 13 has a crew on the way and will bring you updates as we learn more.
