UPDATE: Suspect in deadly stabbing in custody
The Colorado Springs Police Department is investigating a stabbing that took place over the holiday weekend.
On Saturday afternoon, several police responded to the Ridgeview Motel after receiving calls of a stabbing.
The male victim of the stabbing was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Police arrested Chezarea Jones, 30, who faces one charge of Second Degree Murder and is at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center.
