Park County deputy injured in deadly shooting

A Park County deputy was injured in a deadly shooting involving two brothers near Guffey Thursday night.

The Park County Sheriff’s Office said a man shot and killed his brother at a home near Guffey around 8:30 p.m. Thursday .

After deputies arrived, several shots were fired, deputies said. During that time, the suspect was killed. But deputies said they do not know who fired the deadly shot.

Also during that time, a deputy suffered non-life threatening injuries, but deputies would not say if he was shot.
