Man arrested for having meth, mushrooms, pot and a gun

Colorado Springs police have arrested a man who was in possession of several illegal drugs.

Officers pulled over 34-year-old Ricky Hinojose for a traffic stop Wednesday night in the area of Academy boulevard and Bijou street. When they pulled him over, they say they immediately saw marijuana and paraphernalia.

As officers searched his car, they found methamphetamine, marijuana, mushrooms and a gun.

Hinojose was arrested and is now facing charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of weapons by previous offender. He is a convicted felon.
