iShare pledge promotes road safety

With summer in full swing, more people are out and about, walking and riding their bikes on the streets of Pueblo, and one group is pushing for extra precaution for drivers.

Active Pueblo is asking drivers to be extra careful and pay attention for people sharing the roads.

They are starting a pledge drive, called iShare the Road, so drivers are courteous to pedestrians and bikers.

“Whether you’re driving a car, riding a bike, walking, in a wheelchair, just make you’re following the rules, and that you’re looking out for other people and being nice and letting other people cross the street, also,” said Kim Arline, the chairperson of Active Pueblo.
