Pueblo residents hit the pool to escape high temps

With summer in full swing and the temperatures continuing to rise, many are looking for ways to beat the heat.

In Pueblo on Wednesday, people were cooling off at the city park swimming pool. Even with the clouds lingering in the background, people were still taking advantage of the slides and cool water.

“When it gets really hot, I come out here to beat up the heat,” said Evan Woodka-Kelly.

The pool is open every day from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Kids under two are free and ages 3 to 12 are $2. It is $2.50 for ages 13 to 17. For ages 18 and older the cost is $3.
