Colorado Primary Election Day: What you need to know

The clerk and recorders office is urging voters to make their votes count for Colorado’s Primary Election Day.

“It is tremendously helpful for our office when voters return their ballot early. We are able to release results more quickly on election night and that benefits everyone anxious to know the outcome of the races,” said Clerk and Recorder Chuck Broerman.

The deadline to drop off ballots is Tuesday at 7 p.m.

There are 15 secure drop-off locations, open 24 hours a day. For a list of locations click here.

Voters who need to get a replacement ballot, update their registration or register to vote can do so at any of the four clerk and recorders offices.

If you are an unaffiliated voter who wants to affiliate with the Democratic or Republican party, you can do so at the clerk’s office as well.
