Bikers takeover downtown COS for 16th Annual Tejon Street Bike Fest

Thousands of motorcycles filled the streets of Colorado Springs on Sunday for the 16 th Annual Tejon Street Bike Fest.

Bikers from all over the region gathered downtown to show off their bikes and to compete for trophies and prizes.

A few of them told KRDO NewsChannel 13 that they look forward to the event every year because they love gathering together as a community.

“All bikers are brothers, man. We’re all like family, oh yeah, you can count on them on a dime. They’ll just come to your rescue. They’ll come and help you with something,” said Katherine and Sam Heplar.

As part of the festival, there was live music, a tattoo contest and a bikini contest.
