Souped-up cars take over State Fairgrounds

The Rocky Mountain Street Rod Nationals are back in Pueblo for the 32nd year in a row.

Over 2,000 souped-up cars and trucks were displayed all day Saturday at the Colorado State Fairgrounds.

Many of the cars are built by their owners, who share tips and tricks with each other about how they made their ride unique.

People from all over have been flocking to the fairgrounds to check it out.

“I think it’s a great atmosphere, I’ve now met people from Texas, Arkansas, Kansas- I mean it’s a good draw, there’s people from all over really,” said visitor Mark Keep.

Gates open Sunday from 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 for people 13 and up and $6 for children ages 6-12.
