Motorcycle crash in downtown COS sends man to hospital

A motorcycle accident shutdown the northbound side of Wahsatch Ave. on Saturday.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, the accident happened at around 1 p.m. at the intersection of Bijou and Wahsatch. Police believe a truck cut the motorcycle off, causing it to crash.

The driver of the bike reportedly suffered severe head injuries and was transported to a hospital. Police told KRDO that they don’t think he was wearing a helmet.
