Donkey Derby Days kicks off in Cripple Creek

Cripple Creek is holding its annual Donkey Derby Days this weekend.

This family-friendly event brings people from all over the U.S. Most visit to see the main event, the donkey races.

There are also vendors lining Bennett Avenue and live music performances throughout Saturday and Sunday.

It is the 85th year for this free festival.
