Fillmore Street to close this weekend for repaving

Drivers in Colorado Springs will see detours this weekend.

All ramps on I-25 and Fillmore Street will close at 8 p.m. Friday for repaving. Fillmore Street will also close from Chestnut Street to Mark Dabling Boulevard. The area is expected to reopen at 5 a.m. Monday.

There will be signed detours along the interstate to guide drivers. Motorists can also utilize northbound Centennial Boulevard or I-25 to Garden of the Gods Road to access Mark Dabling Boulevard south to continue eastbound on Fillmore Street. Fontanero Street to northbound Chestnut will detour motorists around the closure to access westbound Fillmore Street.

Drivers should also expect delays in the area.
