“Picket” reunites with officer who rescued her

she’s one lucky kitty! picket, a cat found dangling from a fence in colorado springs, is on the road to recovery and will soon be ready for a forever home. the brown tiger cat is missing a toe … and is in a cast … but in good spirits and out of quarantine. she was rescued by animal law enforcement officer “al” nolen two weeks ago. a property owner near lake and i-25 called the sheriff’s office when he discovered the kitty yowling, stuck in an old privacy fence. by the time i got there, she was hanging by her wrist on her back leg and was upsidedown and backwards pretty much. she was trying to hang on but i think she had given up at that point. the humane society is still monitoring picket’s injuries. she will be ready for adoption in a few weeks.
