Photos capture groom getting bit by rattlesnake
Someone’s wedding day is typically one they’ll never forget. However, a run in with a rattlesnake is the reason why this couple won’t forget their big day.
Laura and Johnny Benson were taking photos in Horsetooth Reservoir shortly after the ceremony when a rattlesnake jumped onto their walking path and bit the groom in the ankle.
Their photographer didn’t miss the chance to keep taking photos, including Laura calling for help, Johnny in the hospital and the newlyweds arriving late to their own reception.
The newlyweds are now happily enjoying their honeymoon and Johnny is recovering just fine.
