Colo. woman claims train doors closed on dog’s head
The problems are continuing for the Denver area’s light rail train.
One woman says the train’s doors closed on her service dog’s head, trapping him for about a mile.
Gaylen and his owner were heading to a training session in Lakewood from Comic Con in downtown Denver over the weekend.
Belinda Williams said when they tried to get off the train, the door shut on her dog’s head before he fully exited.
After about a mile, she was finally able to get him out.
Now, Belinda says she is worried it could happen again.
“What if a child gets his backpack stuck in there? I mean, it could`ve happened to anyone. It could have happened to someone`s arm,” said Belinda.
In a statement, RTD says security footage outside the stop in Lakewood showed no signs of any issues. Security footage from inside the train has yet to be released.
