Bike to Work Day encouraging Pueblo residents to get active

bike to work day… pueblo residents were outside bright and early this morning to ride into work and catch some breakfast on their way in. four stations were set up this morning with healthy breakfast food to fuel riders on their way into work or wherever their schedule took them. one stand at the city-county health department… had 45 people stop by to pick up food and free goodies. some riders also said they were using this day as a chance to get their kids out of the house to discover the fun of being outdoors… we are out here just enjoying this morning and trying to teach a better lifstyle to the kids than just sitting in front of the tv for cartoons in the morning. pueblo county commissioner sal pace participated in the day as well… stopping by the stand at the health department on his way to the commissioners meeting. and of course bike
