Man claiming he has bomb robs Colo. bank

The FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force is asking for the public’s help in finding the suspect behind a bank robbery in Edgewater on Tuesday.

At around 10 a.m., a Hispanic male robbed the Bellco Credit Union located at 1931 Sheridan Boulevard. He reportedly presented a note to a clerk stating that he had a bomb.

After taking an unknown amount of money, he left the bank in a white Dodge Charger.

He is described as being in his late 20s, standing 5’10” tall, thin build, short black hair and possible tattoos on his face and/or neck.

At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a dark colored Colorado Mammoth jacket, light colored jeans and light colored shoes.
