Colorado Springs makes list of top U.S. cities for dogs during summer

Dog sitter website Rover.com has released its list of the top 25 cities for dogs in the summer.

Colorado Springs ranked five on the list.

To rank each city, the company took into consideration pet friendly amenities like off-leash dog parks, trusted pet sitters and temperatures during the city’s summer.

The number one spot went to San Francisco and coming in last was Tampa Bay, Fla.

Denver also made the top 25 list, ranking at number nine.
