Arranged meeting through Craigslist in COS ends in armed robbery

A man who used Craigslist to arrange a meeting with a woman in Colorado Springs was held at gunpoint and robbed on Tuesday.

According to the Colorado Police Department, the man was set to meet the woman at the Pleasure Entertainment Adult Store. Shortly after the two met in the back lot of the store, two black men approached them. One of the suspects put a pistol to the man’s neck as the other suspect took his wallet and cash.

The two men and the woman then left the store in a white Cadillac, traveling east on Platte.

Police want to remind the public to be cautious when meeting new people online and to choose wisely on the meeting location.
