TRAFFIC ALERT: Portion of I-25 to be shut down tonight

Starting at 9 p.m. Monday, the southbound lane of Interstate 25 between Cimarron and South Nevada will be shut down to 5 a.m.

The closures will last through Thursday.

It is all to allow crews to work on the new overpass.

Drivers heading south will have to exit the interstate at Cimarron and take a detour to Nevada Avenue.
