Pueblo community members giving children hope

community members are helping out kids in pueblo today.. cooperative care center on eighth-street held a kids day the event was held to inspire children…and give hope and joy to the kids in attendance. a magician gave out balloon animals to the smiling kids… and the center provided sack lunches filled with nutrious food. the event also had book readings…where the kids got to take home the books that were read to them. it is for a child to this place. we don’t know where they are coming from or what they’re going through with their families. they’re experiencing hunger or whatever. but here we want them to leave with hope and joy about 70 families were in attendance. the center has been doing this kids event for seven years. they will be holding other kids days in july and august.
