One dead after jet ski accident at Lake Pueblo State Park

A jet ski accident at Lake Pueblo State Park left one man dead on Friday.

According to the Pueblo Chieftain, 43-year-old Sergio Sanchez Capacepe of Pueblo West was found dead after a jet ski collision occurred on Lake Pueblo at around 6:30 p.m.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office and the Pueblo West Fire Department responded but no one was able to resuscitate the man.

An investigation is underway and is being conducted by Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
