Fountain PD: “When one of us goes through a battle, we all fight it together.”

A group of Fountain police officers have shaved their heads in support of one of their own who is going through chemotherapy.

David Langfels, also known as “Officer Dave,” teaches DARE to local elementary schools and has been battling cancer for 8 years.

Officer Dave has recently started another round of chemo which is causing him to lose his hair.

To show their team dedication, many officers with the department have shaved their heads.

A quote they live by is, “When one of us goes through a battle, we all fight it together.”
