Downtown roads closed for Western Street Breakfast

Several roads in downtown Colorado Springs will be closed Wednesday morning for the Western Street Breakfast.

The event kicks off the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo.

The following roads will be closed:

Tejon Street will be closed between Kiowa and Colorado from midnight to noon
Pikes Peak Avenue will be closed between Nevada and Cascade Avenues from midnight to noon
Pikes Peak Avenue will also be closed between Nevada to North Corona Street from 4:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Tokens for break are only five dollars and children under five-years-old can eat for free.

Proceeds for the event will benefit local service members and their families.

It’s the 56 th year for the event.
