Man shot by deputy at COS Hobby Lobby convicted of Attempted Murder
The man responsible for pulling a knife on two El Paso County deputies during his arrest was convicted of multiple charges on Monday including attempted murder.
Brian Douglas Lowe was convicted of two counts of Attempted Murder, two counts of 1st Degree Assault/Threaten a Peace Officer and additional other charges.
In May of 2015, two deputies were called to investigate a possible sighting of an escaped felon at a Colorado Springs Hobby Lobby. When they confronted Lowe, he pulled a knife on them causing one of the deputies to fire their weapon at him.
