Missing Ark. River tuber found

Fremont Search and Rescue called off the search for the missing rafter after he was found safe at home Sunday morning.

Deputies and fire crews rescued a family on Saturday after their inner-tubes capsized near the Ash (Raynolds) Street bridge.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, someone had reported seeing a family of five, including a 1-year-old child, come out of their tubes and into the river.

Only the infant was wearing a life preserver vest.

Everyone from the incident has been recovered.

The Sheriff’s Office stated that this was not a commercial rafting accident.
