COS takes action amidst Orlando tragedy
The terror can be felt across the United States as many mourn the loss of those who were killed in the mass shooting in Orlando early Sunday morning.
Tears are even being shed in Colorado Springs. Several in the community are coming together to honor the dead and to express condolences towards the family that are left to deal with the mess.
Two vigils are scheduled to take place on Sunday, June 12. One will be at Acacia Park at 8 p.m. and the other Club Q at 8 p.m.
Across the state, many Coloradoans are wanting to help and asking if they could donate blood for the Orlando shooting victims. Bonfils Blood Center is accepting donors.The center asks that you mention group #7300 or Orlando Memorial Drive when you give blood.
