New video released in Northern Colorado shootings investigation

A task force that is investigating a series of shootings that happened in Northern Colorado last year has released new video.

The video was recorded near the intersection of Denver Avenue and E. 18th Street in Loveland at around 10:30 p.m. on June 3, 2015.

The Northern Colorado Shooting Task Force says the video shows a motorcyclist being followed by the shooter in a pickup truck.

The motorcyclist was shot at moments after the video was recorded, but was not injured.

The task force says that just 12 minutes later, the shooter shot and killed William Connole at the corner of E. 1st Street and N. St. Louis Avenue.

The shooter’s truck is described as an orange 1973 to 1987 Chevy or GMC pickup.

Anyone who was in the area around 10:30 p.m. on June 3, 2015 and saw the truck is asked to call 970-498-5595 or email taskforce@larimer.org.
