More warm weather and thunderstorms roll through southeastern Colorado

Today: Warm temperatures continue with highs in the 80s for Colorado Springs and Pueblo. We begin the day with a cloudy but mild morning and then through the evening and overnight hours thunderstorms pop up at 5-6 pm in El Paso County and the San Luis Valley. Mountain areas in the high country get multiple scattered thunderstorms across the Sangre De Cristos and San Luis Valley.

Tomorrow: A more active pattern is in store for tomorrow with thunderstorms popping up more frequently. Cloud cover rolls in at 2 pm with small showers at 3 pm, by 4 pm some areas over I-25 will already have small thunderstorms. The most severe timeframe for Colorado Springs is around 8 pm for the largest thunderstorm.
