Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region gets $176K grant

The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region is getting a $176,000 boost thanks to a grant from the Petco Foundation.

Those with the humane society plan to use $150,000 of those funds to go towards the expansion happening at the facility on Abbot Lane in Colorado Springs.

The remaining funds from the grant will go toward other Humane Society programs.

The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region’s president told KRDO it will help the organization save more animals’ lives.
