Man arrested in Oklahoma after triple slaying in Denver
Police have arrested a 32-year-old man in connection with the shooting deaths of three people in Denver during what investigators say was a drug deal gone wrong.
Chad Evans was arrested at a home in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Tuesday afternoon and is being held for investigation of felony murder, attempted murder and robbery.
The Denver coroner’s office identified the victims Monday as 28-year-old Devonne Burton, 27-year-old Sean Point and 27-year-old Derrius Woods. Burton and Point were found dead in the northeast Denver home Friday night, and Woods died at a hospital.
It’s unclear if Evans has hired an attorney. A call to the Tulsa County jail went unanswered Tuesday night.
