Baby born outside Aurora fire station

A baby that couldn’t wait to get to the hospital to make her arrival decided to join the world outside of an Aurora fire station.

Over the weekend, a 23-year-old in labor and her mother made an unexpected pit stop.

They backed into the driveway of the fire station. That’s when firefighters laid the mom-to-be on the lawn just as an ambulance arrived.

“I was ready, and I knew the minute I got in there, I was going to have this baby. Two pushes, the baby, she’s out,” said the mother.

Firefighters helped to deliver little Endiya safely.

And turns out, this is a familiar story to the family. The baby’s mother was actually born in an ambulance and delivered by an Aurora firefighter.
