Pueblo man has partial leg amputation after domestic dispute with boyfriend
A Pueblo man was arrested on Sunday for allegedly hitting his boyfriend with a car.
Michael Montoya, 31, was taken into custody after police issued a warrant for his arrest.
Police were called out to 7th and Main to investigate a domestic violence fight at around 1:30 a.m. When they arrived, they found Michael Solano severely injured.
Solano was rushed to the hospital where he had to have a partial leg amputation. He was then flown to a Denver hospital to receive further treatment.
Solano told police that Montoya and he were having a fight when Montoya hit him with the car.
Montoya was arrested for assault and domestic violence charges.
