Caon City man dies in rollover crash

Colorado State Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle crash in Caon City that left a 21-year-old dead early Sunday morning.

Gregory Guion, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene after his 2004 Subaru crashed into a tree at Chestnut Street and Elm Avenue.

Patrol got the call at 1:50 a.m. Investigators believe Guion was speeding on Chestnut Street when his vehicle lost control. The Subaru went off the road, causing it to make a complete 360 degree roll and ending with a collision into a nearby tree.

Colorado State Patrol told KRDO alcohol may have contributed to the crash.
