Springs police searching for armed robbery suspect

Colorado Springs police are searching for the suspect who robbed a local business early Wednesday morning.

It was just after midnight when officers got a call about an armed robbery off the 2100 block of West Colorado Avenue.

The police report states that the suspect had walked in the business 30 minutes prior to robbing it. He had bought an item, left and then returned with a handgun, demanding money.

The robber is described as being a Hispanic male in his 30s to early 40s, with a shaved head, mustache and numerous tattoos on his body including the number “13” on his head. He was wearing tan pants and a v-neck sweater at the time of the robbery.
