Volunteers painting life into Pueblo Soup Kitchen

gathered today at the pueblo soup kitchen.. to help spruce up the aging building. it’s positively pueblo. this mural project comes, courtesy of the group “leadership pueblo.” the new paint job caps off a busy month at the soup kitchen. including new furnaces.. and a way to honor the kitchen’s “farm to table” philosophy. from the community, to the farm, to getting right into the pot of soup. part of the mural design pays tribute to zola hunyada.. a local legend who was one of the founders of the pueblo
