Springs apartment complex struck by lightning
An apartment complex in Colorado Springs was struck by lightning on Tuesday.
Severe weather hit Hearthwood just before 8 p.m.
Captain Steven Oswald with the Colorado Springs Fire Department told KRDO that there was an odor of smoke following the lightning strike but there was no active fire.
Crews are currently clearing apartments.
