High waters stall multiple vehicles off Platte Avenue

Colorado Springs police and fire crews had to rescue multiple vehicles off Plate Avenue on Tuesday night.

Tow trucks were out moving cars off the street that had stalled due to the foot and a half deep water. Police told KRDO that within an hour, they had to make two water rescues.

Officials are warning other drivers not to drive through any high accumulation of water that is on the roads.
