Four hurt in Bijou Street crash

Authorities say four people were hurt in a crash that blocked westbound Bijou Street over I-25 downtown Tuesday.

Three people were trapped and had to be rescued from the wreckage. The crash resulted in a small car fire.

All of the injuries were described as non-life threatening by police.

The driver of the Chevrolet Camaro, Phillip Jensen, was arrested for several traffic related charges including vehicular assault.

Officials believe that speeding and driving under the influence were contributing factors of the crash.
