Continued heavy rainfall in the Spring affecting road repair

rains in the spring of 2013 and the fall of 2015 continue to have an impact on many areas in southern colorado. some roads, bridges, trails and parks remain closed because of flood and erosion damage. and in some cases, federal money thaty would help pay for repairs, still hasn’t arrived. local crews are trying to restore affected areas as fast as they can. “we’ve probably got a dozen or so projects that we’re looking at–whether in western el paso county, up the pass, or clear out into black forest.” coming
