Pueblo police investigate drive-by shooting

Pueblo police are investigating the city’s second drive-by shooting in the last 72 hours.

It happened early Monday morning in the 500 block of West Routt Avenue.

Investigators say the victim was shot while sitting in his car. He was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are still working to get a description of the shooter and add they are getting frustrated by the amount of shootings.

“The frustrating thing is we are getting people that are getting hit but very few of them, if any, are cooperating with the police,” said Capt. Eric Bravo, with the Pueblo Police Department.

Bravo said the shootings are not random and there is no need for the public to be worried.
